The build had little to no planning at all. Although some may not recommend building without any plans, I tend to disagree. Most of the neat things I build were just made by me "winging it."

The reason I made it? The initial reason to build it was because a friend on my main server needed to make his island look populated with homes and such. The reason I chose to build it the way I did was to experiment with something that is usually old, and antique looking - but change it into something modern.

It isn't totally modern. As you can see, it isn't decked out with Iron Blocks and Glowstone, its got the same wood/rustic feel to it, only modernized. These are just a few details for anyone who feels like reading and not just looking at pictures.
