This type of house, with its crazy roof slopes, was popular from the 60's to 80's. It's sometimes know as a "shed house" because roofs with unusual shapes are called "Shed Roofs".

I'm actually imitating a popular style from the 60's to 80's. They weren't the nicest houses, but they still have a nice charm to them. If you don't like it, then I guess you just don't like houses from that time, which I can understand.
