Nice idea!  This could easily be expanded upon!  Maybe work on giving the pet special abilities or something..? :)

Good Work! but is there a way that stops all armor stands from teleporting to the wolf?

Yes it can!
/tp @e[type=ArmorStand] @e[type=Wolf] change that into this:
/tp @e[type=ArmorStand,name=NameArmorstand] @e[type=Wolf]
 You can change "NameArmorstand" into the name of your pet/armorstand!

I added the Wolf Name so that the armor stand will teleport ot the Wolf with a name on it

/tp @e[type=ArmorStand,name=NameArmorstand] @e[type=Wolf,Name=NameWolf]


Is this Correct?

Yes it is but by Name=NameWolf have to be name=NameWolf
