Modern Cube House

Both houses are completely the same, the only difference is the material combination. They are 16x16 blocks big (one chunk), so they can fit on a Towny plot. It was made for a Towny server Mineland.org in the town Tivolia.

I first build the wool house, but since the mayor of Tivolia doesn't use that material, and I didn't realized that until I was going to start building it on the server, I had to change the materials to clay and quartz. And it turned out to look even better. So this is the way how I came to build my first house out of clay, and it's also my first modern house. I never found modern houses very interesting but lately as I was watching some Keralis let's plays, he showcase and builds modern houses, I became more interested into them. So, I'll probably make more of these in the future, and I'll most probably use the FlowsHD texture pack which looks awesome for modern houses.
