The CUBE is a large project started by user Grimmie_XII in Beta 1.6.6. It is modeled after the structure in the movie Cube and it has traps and many hundreds of rooms all the like.
Since the third version, Minecrafters have been recruited to the 'CUBE Crew' and have worked on and finished the CUBE V4, which is available for schematic download at: http://www.mcschematics.com/index.php?topic=9131.0 or you can download the file here.

The CUBE is going to be very interesting in version 5, with the addition of room for advanced traps and redstone mechanisms, it should turn out to be much more exciting than its predecessor, V4. However, V4 had 4097 rooms (no room for traps) and V5 has only 729, but the room exteriors are 13x13 instead of 7x7 in V5.

CUBE V5 is currently in development, and the Crew is accepting new members to help with the massive structure. You can apply at the Wiki page.

yes that is what this project is based off of, although due to Minecraft limitations we cannot actually make the rooms rotate around. See the CUBE M section in this link for more information on that failure: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/User:Grimmie_XII/Cube_Project

i see to bad you cant let the rooms rotate like in the movie but maybe instead of letting the entire cube move you could make the tunnel (to get from cube to cube) move to a other cube btw don't know if it will be of any help but there is a mod that let pistons push unlimited blocks

Good enthusiasm! Sure! lol
The server is being reformatted and should be back up soon, and we can get started with some construction! (Notice the 10% completion... there's no traps, colored wool for aesthetics, or any other thing significant yet besides the rooms and the shell. :P
But that's where the community comes in.

Epic cubes in a game full of cubes making up a giant cube full of cubic rooms made up of cubes.
