I made a custom badlands biome, with wheat growing all around the floor. It gives a richer pleasant vibe, as opposed to the barren simple mesa biome. Peaks are fallen over or resting on nearby standing ones. Chunks of them are scattered around the floor, for better immersion and more challenging gameplay. Also some "naturally-formed" arches, for nice screenshots with the setting sun.
