Bug Update #1 : by zack7796 04/22/2022 5:28:51 pmApr 22nd, 2022
Fixed:
- Parkour Winner properly works now
- Maps clear cobwebs, scaffolding, and landmines. This was done so you can edit the maps if you wanted, that way your edits are not removed every game.
- Mines work as intended. They are already too strong IMO and require solid ground as to allow players to counter the item in some way.
- Fixed a few issues with soul stealer not giving correct strength values
- Thunder Tag is now properly removed after use
- Fixed an issue where games could not be started after leaving a game in progress.

> Leaving the Gold shop grants everyone with Bread instead of just in the game.
> I'm not sure if this is a bug, but you can keep your previously selected "kit" and add more to it throughout later games. Again, not sure if this is a bug or intentional.
> Some things are way too broken compared to others. For example - Protection III Diamond armor. It barely slows the player down and even then, if someone were to use fire and bow it can still outpace them even if they have similar armor. Probably should be debuffed to Prot I so it can be balanced with the rest of the armor. (or have each piece be worth 2 gold). Things like the Full Set Iron in a Gold Chestplate are fine due to price and balance around it.
> The Park map for some reason teleports players to a small box when killed rather than back in the arena.
> You spawn in survival mode anytime the game starts. Don't know why that is when you can break blocks and get out of the map this way. Probably should change to adventure.
Map seems to be fun to play, but definitely needs more balance checks and a bit more bug fixing.
>This is intentional, as a way to nerf high consumable kits from taking 9 slots of splash potions, for instance.
>This is to allows you to play new matches quicker if you don't want to change loadouts, and lets you do what you want with your game.
>I will look into this suggestion, I know mojang changed the way some armor attributes work so speed may be one of them that worked fine in 1.16 but not well in 1.18.
>This is not intentional, I will look into a fix.
>You are supposed to be able to break scaffolding, cobwebs, and the like. It is also to allow you to play the game how you want. My friends and I don't like minigames where they force you to play a certain way, so this choice reflects that.
Again, thank you for your time, means the world.

> Makes sense, although probably would be better to give it to the individual player than to everyone as all that does is spam the inventory up, clouding inventory space (and even then, the balance is pretty much ignored once players put the food in their inventory as well. Had the people I played with end up doing this to make room and such for what they bought).
> Interesting. Although in this situation I think having a way to where there's an option set-up for this. For example - 8 Gold Mode or Continuous Mode. 8 Gold having it to where you can only have the value of your inventory equal 8 Gold and Continuous being able to continue stacking up and adding to what you had previously. Makes things easier on the players.
> Yeah. Armor Attributes are pretty tough to get down correctly. I've had quite a few run-ins myself when trying to organize them to be correct with mapmakers. Had to run through multiple tests with them so it's not something that's easy to organize when it's set-up properly.
> Thank you. I figured it wasn't.
> Probably would be best to organize the weapons to be able to break these sorts of blocks then. You can give them NBT tags to be able to do that and I've seen others be able to hide these NBT tags so they're not blocking up the entire screen. I mean, after all, you're surely going to be breaking cobwebs and the like with a sword anyways or your weapon just to be safer than sorry. Not sure how to hide them myself though.. something I could research with others.
You're welcome. Always try to do my best.
Parkour winner doesn't grant extra gold
Maps don't clear when you have completed a game
Mines are inconsistent, and fully disfunctional on transparent blocks.
Overall great map! Would be even better if these bugs are fixed for future updates!
Edit: Soul Stealer breaks for the rest of the game if held in offhand
Thunder Tag doesn't work at all (tested once in Park map)
