I dont know where else to post this, but i hope here is ok :)
Ive configured some scoreboard tags and ive come up with this!
This is not a Mod, Plugin, Or a client to make this work. Its just made with vanilla minecraft. This is just as good as a plugin except its not permissions wise, so if you rank some up in bukkit you will need to do two commands
If you dont understand you to give a play this tag ill help you, but you should understand this is not a prefix for chat, it is only for the player list when you press tab (By default)

Where to put the file
Here is how you give a player a tag:
First: Giving the player the tag of choice.
- /scoreboard teams join {tag} {player}
Second: For CriteriaType I Recommend either totalKillCount (List number of kills) Or deathCount (Players Deaths).
- /scoreboard objectives add {name} {CriteriaType}
Third: Making it so people will see the tab tags.
- /scoreboard objectives setdisplay list {name}
Forth (Optional): Have the tag show above the players skin.
- /scoreboard objectives setdisplay belowName {name}
