This is an enchantment table that, through the use of 5 buttons can be customised so that any number of bookshelves surround it. Each button simple toggles the number of tables that it specifies, so the first button toggles one table, the second 2, ect. Using the first four buttons it is possible to get any number of shelves, from 0 - 15, e.g to get 11 you would press the first, second and fourth buttons (1 + 2 + 8). The final button is just a convenience, and toggles all 15 tables.
It is a very simple concept, and just involves the 5 buttons going into separate mono-stable circuits, turning the button press into a one-tick pulse. Each pulse then links to the corresponding pistons, which will toggle whether the shelf is up or down. The final button just links to all 15 tables.
In this update I have compacted the wiring very significantly, going from a size of around 1700 blocks, to just a 14 x 9 x 8 volume, giving a total of 1008 blocks, even though it looks like it should be smaller, there needs to be one more air space above where the redstone ends for the pistons to extend in the mono-stable circuits. It now works in 1.5, and should work regardless of location or orientation.
