Ather - a True Open World RPG -
Custom Skins! Leveling System! Tons of Side Quests!
A gigantic world to explore! Tons of lore!
An adventure map that uses the mod CustomNPCs to create an immersive and real open world experience in a dying world.
We have created quite a bit of content for this map and now we need your help to test it out so you can leave feedback, report bugs, and even suggest any ideas you have!
MAIN STORY -
The so-called 'immortal' Futhrem EdgeLord, King of Ather, has passed away, leaving behind a trail of destruction. Magic is fleeting from the continent just as it did to the rest of the world centuries ago, and the Eternity Crystals are shattering, leaving unstable rifts to other dimensions that want to conquer the world. It is up to you to find out what has happened, and save Ather.

WHAT WE HAVE SO FAR -
- Arton - City of Unity - Capital city of Ather, 90% complete (still needs a tavern, and a few more shops and buildings).
- A full prologue to the main story (about 45 minutes of playtime)
- 5 side quests
- Custom skins for a few basic NPCs and main characters.
- Half of the leveling system complete. (Toughness goes to 10, strength goes to 2)WHAT WE PLAN ON HAVING -
- A better opening and introduction to the story, the one right now is kind of a placeholder.
- All of the main cities of Ather:Caygrove - City of Life.

DOWNLOAD MAP HERE!Small Time-line of the first Era that I put together. Not yet complete, since I'm not sure how to end it.The Humans from the Dragon Empire (Capital in the center of Scoria) have taken over most of the world's continents except for Ather and Galvan, but Galvan is an uninhabitable wasteland full of demons and death.

It would be really fun something to spend some time, im talking about making a house on our own, the one we could craft, save things we found exploring, some place to return after some quests. speaking of quest it ould be fun that when we start a quest, we sould have a teleporter to the place we need to get. i dont know, it would be great if we can speak over skype or something...but im acctualy looking for something like that and i cant finde it anywhere. hope you see this and i hold for your answer. thanks!! keep up the good work
