Dark Spire

A dark scar rises from the earth; a lance of obsidian piercing the sky! A column of black in the day, wreathed in flickering fire at night. Who knows what manner of dark wizard rules this imposing structure...

This spire was crafted using WorldEdit and the VoxelBox ModPack, and is designed to be used with the VoxelBox Pangea texture pack, though can be used in any setting. The spire as modeled has an open base, with four structural columns running up the center, with two of them bearing ladders to the heights of the tower. The basic model soars 60 blocks high, though can be constructed taller or shorter (minimum height of 40) using the included building pieces.

This building was designed for a creative server, and as such is not mob-proof as designed, though the upper level(s) would be fairly difficult for mobs to get to. There are lips that would prevent spiders from ascending to the top of the tower. If you are a dark wizard and possess the means of flight, the center columns can be removed, making flight the only way up to your aerie. The basic tower includes two levels (and two small balconies) in addition to the ground level. All of which are unfurnished. They can stay that way and have the spire be an abandoned ruin, or moved into and start your life as a ruling warlock!
