(Sorry about the very, very bad YouTube video, it's the best my computer could do.)

The distant sounds of explosions are heard, ringing through the mountain valley of Eathrian. Screams, battle cries, swords clashing with armor, weapons, and flesh. The thundering stampede of horsemen and the whistling of catapults launching boulders into the air. The year is 1267, time 7:57 PM. The battle between men, dwarves, and elves and all known evil every before faced is coming to an end, the fate of the world Andriel with it.

The Battle for Andriel is over, the evil has been stayed for now, though the men, dwarves, and elves have lost much. The three races, once united, return to their homelands to greive for their lost.

The dwarves live in the Abriandhey Mountains, far from the forests of the elves, and the plains of men. They tend to keep to themselves in their caverns, surounded by food, mead, and riches. However, their lifestyle is on the brink of destruction as a result of the war. The Dwarven High Council decided it best to come to together once more, to decide the future of the dwarves part in the coming years in Andriel. The war has brought such sorrow and pain that the Dwarven High Council has decided they would not feel this pain again, and so they made a decision that the dwarves would never again take part in any war, instead they will protect their race through defence. To do this, they would need a secret sanctuary, a place their people could go and "preserve their race" in the face of danger. And thus, the Dwarven Sanctuary of Dendreth, was born.

Snug under the small mountain of Eitherien, the base has a massive main cavern, with a platform in the center where they can give out supplies, such as food, water, and pickaxes. Surrounding this platform is a tunnel ring, with numerous homes built into the walls to hold up to 50 dwarven cots in each one. There are 3 tunnels leading to three seperate, massive, mines where they dwarves can mine, play games, entertain themselves, and in the case of overflow, live.

The dwarves will use Dendreth if their race is ever threatened again.

This is a beautiful project, i absolutely love the use of darkness in the map, to many people are scrared of the dark in map-making and their projects suffer because of it. I love the use of the darkness to make it look bigger it really adds to the project, well done :)
