While planning my Star Wars Tatooine map, I decided that I need a desert flatmap. I searched PMC for some, but didn't find any that really made me want to download. Some were just sand blocks placed in various different biomes, making it impossible for it to be a real desert. So I made my own and want to share it with everyone here.

This map is a desert biome the size of 1000 blocks^2 (yes a biome, not just sand). It is a flatmap so any mountains need to be built/edited in. It is located at Y = 20.

I hope that it will continue generating the world as a desert biome in case you need it to be larger.

Cool this could be very useful if the right people get it in their hands. I would have used this for when I was working on tatooine but thats all in the past now and your working on it :P EDIT: Oh and does the flatness end eventually cuz on the screenie you gave on the Anchorhead project it stopped being flat.

I'm using a different type of map for Anchorhead. This one is a flat 1000 x 1000 desert biome. However, the other one is 2500 x 2500 and has one flat spot on which I am going to build Anchorhead, and the rest is dunes.
