Here is a simple, yet elegant sandstone and mud brick bridge for my desert city. It can be extended to cover longer rivers if needed.
Screenshots were taken using Sildur's shaders. Portions of my city come from GentlemanRevvnar's wonderful desert village datapack:

The file is a .nbt, I use Litematica to save schematics but I am not able to upload .litematic files.
