I like the first render very much, it looks so beautiful!
The ring around is a very cool idea, th ehouses are very simple but they look very good too, the fences look also very good, so all in all, I lit it :-)

Really cool, but in my opinion, you should ditch the desert and turn that sweet looking ring into a space station!
