How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

You find yourself in a room. Four ways, four pressure plates. Then something came to your mind, like a telepathic person messaged you, that the only way to get back to your world is to find South. Well, what are you waiting for? When you stepped on a pressure plate, you noticed something strange. You feel like you have been rotated, from the direction you were just facing at. Then you figured it out. You have been teleported to the opposite direction from where you have just been. Oh snap...

Instructions:
1. Find South by pressing F3(If you didn't move from the start, you are exactly pointing at it). Memorize where it is, and where it will be as you move.
2. Spin like crazy.
3. Run around on all the pressure plates in random. If you do it in patterns, it won't be exciting at all. Then go back to the glowstone platform(From where you spawned) any time you want.
4. Stop and look at a certain direction and then find a way of telling yourself what direction you are pointing at(Thoughts, shouting out loud, typing it at the chat bar, etc).
5. Press F3 and find out the truth.

Recommendations:
1. Turn off your mini-map mods.
2. Don't keep F3 active even if you know you should have closed it already.
3. No breaking of blocks to get out, or see where the sun is(So you can see where is East, revealing where the other directions are)

And yes, this was supposed to be a ''Wild Goose Chase'', as said in the title when the world is loaded. But it was too short to be one.

I've also put a schematic(You don't say) so people with servers could maybe put it there as a mini-game.
