Hi all! In this short tutorial I'm showing 3 compact and tile-able double piston extenders. I show you a wall, floor and ceiling double piston extender. Check the download link for screenshots and a world download :)

These are directional designs, if your extenders aren't working check the world download for a fix (timings have to be adjusted slightly to make it work in other directions)

All pistons are sticky :)

I've read comments of what this could be used for. Doesn't seem as interesting. Now. What can this be used for? Many examples not just a measly door. Also the pistons would show. What can this be used for so it's hidden and for it to be a great redstone blueprint? That's what I wanna know. Lol. By the way. This isn't a rant. This is me as a redstoner wanting to know what this would be used for.

I used something like this (Not this design, my own, but same function) as a security system for a prison server. The pistons would be hidden, and upon activation they would extend blocking all doorways. (They were big doors 10x4)

it will be hidden, trust me if you know how to use it you can make it so it places both the middle block in a 3by3 door and then lowers and puts the middle bottom block in, it won't show, but I know it has been used for other things.

Look at his other videos for hidden things, such as the hidden tree door, it uses a double piston extender, and the crafting table swapper uses one. Many large builds use the double piston extender.

Very cool. Downward one is great for landing gear on medium sized air and space ships. Side one is good for hidden paths on cliffs and walls. Upward one would be cool as a hidden pathway in lava or water.
