spaces left inside town to build your own houses in.
each house is inhabitable by npcs(kinda) and players. and iron golems at every entrance and exit, and the glass over the walls keeps out spiders, as for creepers... just don't leave the gates open.
for this project i would suggest use of bibliocraft, but it's not required.
hard to say if i'll ever update it. (originally on 1.7.4 or 1.7.10, but currently compatible with 1.8)


photos show with and without shaders mod, at day and night with 2 different texture packs.
