A lonely dragon rider flew over the endless ocean in the north, there he found a forlorn island. There he landed in a cave that was almost to small for his dragon. He realized that it was not just a cave but an entire tunnel system, so he decide to settle on the island.
The name he gave the island was "dragon rider`s solitude" in hopes to finally find peace.

Long ago the people now known as "the Dragon Folk" were outcast for possessing the blood of humas. After they lost their unloving homes they found refuge under the wings of a sympathetic group of dragons. With their new protectors they build a home for themself, in the middel of the settlement was a shrine with the sacred gift of the dragons placed upon it. One fateful day a young man dared to touch the gift. For his blasphemous action he was banished. He left towards the frozen north, where together with a dear friend he found a place to call home.

One of the dragons could not feel any sympathy towards these creatures , his brethren were so fond of. Those creatures that placed themself beneath him as if they just existed so, that they could serve the dragons. He would never respect a creatur, that tossed away it`s freedom so easily. So when a craeture was exiled for placeing itself on the same level as dragons, he decided to follow it. On their journey they became dear friends.

The sword Fang was forged out of the blood of a mountain. It was created to protect a dear friend from his own kind, which shunned him for what they saw as a betrayal of their very nature. The blade was coverd in the black blood of serpents, which is poisonous to dagons. In its first battel the sword bathed in the blood of dragons and became imbued with their fiery souls, granting the blade a black flame so it would burn its opponents to nothing, but ash.
