[Dripith] Castle Vimir

Derbanian history
The Derbanian empire is as old as the Icelands of Dripith itself. Back in the primal times of Dripith humans were very primitive. But back then the icelands were a big breeding ground for vampires. So there were constant conflicts between the humans and the vampires. Back then the vampires were nothing like what they are today.They looked more like big bat creatures. Over time the vampire evolved to look more and more like humans to be able to spy on and integrate the human settlements. However at the time the humans were losing the war against the vampires. But a mighty hero rose to the occasion and drove the vampires back and saving human life in dripith. His name was Macrath Derbania. Ever since those events the Derbanians have been treated like gods by the common people in the Icelands. Due to the extremely harsh living conditions in the Icelands the humans have learned to adapt and thrive. Now the Derbanian empire is known all around the planet for their excellent gothic architecture and strong military. Their mighty seat is located in the Vaethyr mountains and their old seat sits on top of a hill that overlooks the city of badihr. The city of badihr has a giant Temple to worship the Derbanian lords. Unfortunately the vampires have evolved to spy and walk around the city at night. Using secret tunnels to get around. So the Vampire Hunters Guild patrolls the city at night to try and keep the citizens safe. Also everyone in badihr has garlic everywhere and it is a huge business. Unfortunately the garlic does nothing against the vampires but the citizens don’t know that.
Castle Vimir:
Castle Vimir is a castle that rules most of the surrounding farmlands and villages/monasteries that surround the city of Badihr. This castle is a very comfortable place to be as it doesn’t get attacked often. But this castle is not really used by the most highest ranking family members of house Derbania. The Derbanians take honor in overseeing more important and dangerous positions. Most Derbanians stay in castle L’Vaethyr and Castle Drohym of Badihr and castle Tamhyr. In castle Vimir there is a derbanian History hall where the roof is painted. On of the paintings is Macrath going to battle in the sun. And the other one is the vampires rising.
