Dying Star is my 2nd map I have made and going to publicly release. The map is in 15w51b snapshot and a resource pack is currently in progress.

It's a Sci-Fi themed map. The story is Earth has dried up of its finite resources and renewable sources of energy produce too small of a quantity for humanitie's survival. This is when an organisation called I.V.D.I.S (International Voyage and Discoveryin Intergalatic Space) solves the world's problems.
A fleet of Star Cruisers have been sent out to harvest dying stars to extract energy from them, which will result in a lot.
But the solution comes with a problem. Ever since stars have been harvested, extra-terrestrial occurances have risen on Star Cruisers. Crew mates killed, rooms shutdown etc.

If you could please comment and give me advice for the map or tips, that'd be great.

NOTE: THE UPDATED MAP IS READY FOR DOWNLOAD
Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed the season and new year. I have been working on the map SO much lately. To an extent that the first level is playable. There's now a hub where the monument is *going* to be held. Theres a corridor for teleporting to levels, ready for the commands to be implemented. Level 2 is in the works but not available. Hope you enjoy!

something that works well for me when I try to plan out an adventure map in sections like what you are planning to do here, is to design it out on an image editing program, like Microsoft Paint or Paint.net, pixel-by-pixel.  I like to design stuff that way and then when I build it in game I substitute each pixel for say two blocks.  I really does help if you want to try it, and it also helps if you write everything and anything you think of on paper when you brainstorm ideas for the map.  Let creativity flow, if something sounds absurd, make it more logical and scientific, if you are going for the absurd, and you see something not as much as you think it would be, make it more strange and more weird,  Do this,a nd everything will be more interesting.

Also, I am willing to make you a ship to set your map on/in.  I will release the ship with a full interior on my profile, but I would make it specificaly for you if you would want one.  I have an idea in mind, I just want you to tell me how big you would want it.

A very interest, and generous proposal, and I am definitely considering it. It would most certainly take a huge weight off my back. The problem is, the ship itself wasn't going to be connected. If you noticed, the main area is apart from the storage room. I didn't really consider even having an exterior since I didn't think anyone would see it.
Your proposal I am definitely considering however. I will come back to you once I got the core features of the map in general set out (level selector, "Power Cell" container etc), so the ma is sort of playable before aesthetics are added. But I doubt you'd be able to build the whole ship, since the rooms are scattered out. But if you are still up for building in the Captains Bay, that would be great. Jut give me a few weeks to see what I have then we can discuss this further
