Earth Construction Project

This is a map of the Earth, taken and colonized with many towns and cities. The cities' sizes are proportional to their real life population. Also in this map, are highway systems based on real highway systems in the respective countries.Currently, this is still a work in progress and will be for a long time, but updates will be released from time to time. You may download Western Canada, but stay updated for more additions and post in the comments letting me know your opinion on this map. Please also download the (Microsoft Office Excel) spreadsheet that comes with it. It has:

• Formulas converting real life geographic co-ordinates into Minecraft coordinates (and vice versa).
  
  
• A list of all the cities included in the latest version of the map.
  
  
• Minecraft coordinates for finding the major cities.
  
  
• Much more detail about the map.
  

This map can be played in survival, but I think Adventure mode is best. Upon opening the world, you spawn in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (only for the first release). Each city that I built has a bedroom, a book about the city, and some of them have items inside chests to help if the map is being played in survival (it works best as a treasure hunt in Adventure mode if you want to find all cities and written books).

I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT THIS MAP BE PLAYED WITH THE REI'S MINIMAP MOD! Anyone is welcome to download my map and use it for their server, but please let me know if you do that, it would be a great help to me to know how many people will be using my map.

I owe huge thanks to the creator of the original Earth map, Lentebriesje (though I hope the coordinate converter I made for him was a good payment haha), and special credit goes to my girlfriend who has begun to help me on this map and I will now finish it twice as fast thanks to her!
