Introducing the East Wing of the College St Sayers

After finishing my round university library, I decided to start building a college. I currently have the entrance and the main quadrangle and the East Wing building. I thought I could release this building on its own, as it will take a while to finish the full college. I also like the building on its own, with its twin towers and the two seminar room and living quarter buildings on either side.

A few notes on the college:

The college will be situated east of the great university library and consist of one quadrangle, two rectangular gardens, several buildings for lectures, student accommodation, libraries, the main hall and a chapel.



The marked part is the East Wing of the College.

I named the college after Dorothy L. Sayers (13 June 1893 – 17 December 1957), who is most famous for being one of the Golden Age crime writers between WW I and WW II and the creator of the noble sleuth Lord Peter Wimsey. But she's also famous for her plays, literary criticism, and essays. She always considered her most academic publication, her translation of Dante's Divine Comedy her best work. I named the college after her not only because she wrote, with "Gaudy Night" one of the best detective novels set in a college, but because she herself was one of the first women to get an Oxford degree a few years after she had graduated with first-class honours in 1915.

In honour of her and the other pioneers of female academia, all the rooms and individual libraries are named after female scientists and academics.

A few notes on the building(s):

It consists of three parts: In the middle are two connected towers which form the main library of the college. On either side of the twin towers are the outer buildings with the scouts' rooms, lecture rooms, individual topical libraries, the common rooms (MCR & SCR), and accommodation for professors in residence.
As befits an older building, the internal structure is not as clear as the rather monolithic outside might suggest. The reason for this is that not only are the buildings not quite identical, being originally built on a hill, the front entrance is also not on the same floor as the back entrance. Best to just explore for yourself, really!

A few notes on the downloads:

The main download is a super flat world, which contains only this fully furnished building. The zip-file does, however, also contain another zip-file, with a modified library resource file, needed for the computers. It does work without it, though.
Which is good, as the second download is only a schematic (for MC 1.14 Java), without the pack.

You can use the building however you see fit, but are not allowed to re-publish it in any form. If you use it in a video, please attribut it to me and link to this page. If you want to build your own college around it and publish it (at PMC, for example), contact me first.
