A redstone elevator. This is one of the fastest possible piston elevators in minecraft not including teleport elevators. Its goes up at a speed faster than flying in creative (you can test this for yourself :p). Diamond/comment if you like it :)

it is possible to make a redstone elevator that allows you to choose levels but it is very very complicated. i read in this minecraft book about the redstone elevator that lets you choose levels about each button sending a redstone signal of different lengths and the machine somehow analyses the redstone sigal and works out which floor was chosen.

the glitch you are talking about is very easily fixed.  just some simple timing fixes, and some decent wiring, and it should work.  If you want an elevator that DOES work, check out mine!

I did fix it but this glitch is in the piston not the timing... I slowed this down about 2x from what it was.

oh you might want to change your description then.  saying its glitchy isnt the best way to get downloads.  ill delete my comments if u want me to
