This beautiful arch is created using a new pallet I've introduced myself too. After lots of projects with the elven/jungle palette for the silvamaris (my elven society that lives in the forest near the sea) this is the first big build for the silvamontibus elven race, those who dwell the mountain forests (or forest mountains). The silvamaris builds are more red and warm; this palette also has some warmth to it, but it's a bit lighter and also complements stoney backdrops better, I hope.

I wanted it to be earthier than the silvamare builds, and I think the logs/woods, yellows and browns work out beautifully for that purpose. I really wanted it to resemble more of an elven theme instead of a dwarven scheme; these elves have been faced with hardship and had to move away from their normal dwellings but have made the best of it and created beautiful builds within their new environment. It still reflect very much the lightness that resembles the elven races.

It took me some time to get this palette together, I hope you like it and I hope more builds will follow in this theme. Right now I haven't let the arch be overrun by vines or leaves but that is definately an option of you want a more natural or blended look for your environment! It also took me some time to get the arch to where I wanted it. The first designs were too flat at the front, this one is nice and curved an has smooth lines.

I've started this build as a project for silvamontibus projects on Atheon and so that gorgeous background that I've built it against is on the edge of the custom jungle biomes built for that server by one of my favorite builders called Trydar, you should definately check out his builds!!! He makes the most awesome big builds, mostly greek and roman themed. If you are looking for a very awesome family friendly server to play on I can definately recommend Atheon.

I hope to be adding a lot more builds to this, they will be based on in or on the mountain, since this is the region where these mountain dwelling elves have settled into life.
