The Enigma machine was an encryption machine used by Germany in World War II. Nowadays obsolete, as current computers break their codes easily, but at the time Alan Turing had to create what is called "the first computer" to break the code and win the war.
After investigating how the machine works, I considered whether it would be possible to replicate its operation within Minecraft using only redstone. And after intentional work, I built the machine.
The world is for 1.18.2 And I recommend that you use carpet mod to use the machine, because it is super slow. Even accelerating at 500 tps, it takes approximately 5 seconds to receive each letter.
Instructions on how to use are on the map, but it is intuitive. As long as you wait the appropriate time when activating levers (one at a time, and wait for the machine to show or stop showing, before activating or deactivating another)
