"The Lonely Mountain, known in Sindarin as Erebor, referred to both a mountain in northern Rhovanion and the subterranean Dwarven city contained within it. In the latter half of the Third Age, it became the greatest city in Middle-earth."
Exerpt from "The One Wiki to Rule Them All"
This is something I have been working on in my spare time for a few years now, and recently have returned to after taking a long break. This is my third iteration of Erebor, The Lonely Mountain, in Minecraft, and my greatest yet due to having no space constraints. Currently it is very unfinished (About 30%), and needs a lot of work on the inside as well as needs a lot of work on the terraforming and mountain work.
Shaders Used: Sildurs Vibrant Shaders
Mods Used: The Lord of the Rings Mod Beta 36.15 and a custom Texture Pack that reverts back to the old textures.
Plugins Used: Voxelsniper and Worldedit
Current Time spent: 120 Hours
If you would like to see this build finished, please leave a diamond, favorite, subscribe and check out my other builds. There is no map download for this build yet, maybe in the future.

I wish you dedication and love for your work.
Since mountains tend to be tall and Minecraft is capped to 258 I recommend you use cubic chunks mod along with a couple of back ups just in case, I sure that with it you will be able to achieve those 40 degrees up to the 2k!
This build is for sure my passion project right now and I would go as far to say my Masterpiece. I appreciate your kind words!
