Hello,
this is an excavator I built. I tried to make it realistic and good looking.
First I built it in 1.12 and then in 1.13 to check out some of the new blocks.
The acacia trapdoors were really fitting but without optifine antialiasing was so bad that even in a few blocks distance you would see lines and grainy textures. So I took the screenshots in 1.12 and replaced the acacia trapdoors with the bottom of a normal acacia door (because it has an orientation, the upper part doesn't if used as single block).
I also tried the different types of buttons because I thought maybe the dark oak buttons match the netherbrick but stone still looked the best.
If you were looking for a heavy mining excavator see Terex Mining Excavator.
And if you'd like to see a steampowered excavator take a look at my Marion Steam Shovel.
Enjoy!

It amaze me how detailed you make all of these!
Yeah I really like detail cause it makes things look much more interesting ^^
It was one of my first vehicles that actually looked realistic xD
