Intro:
This was my first attempt at an organic work, and I really jumped in at the deep end. I did this dragon over a week in 10-15 min breaks between revision for my first set of second year exams at university. I have wanted to give something like this a go for some time now and am reasonably pleased with how it turned out. I didn't really have the time to smooth it properly, so there are still lots of inorganic looking areas but hopefully it still looks OK to you guys. I decided not to use a texture pack for the screenshots, but i'm not really sure why. I did, however, design this with Ozo's texture pack.
Lore:
Well, for this build i didn't really have any lore in mind as I went along but just winged it <---- bad joke is bad, i'll stop. But for the next attempt I will definitely think of a theme before actually going ahead with building it and it should look much better, I would also like to fit it in with a build of some sort in custom terrain, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the future :P

I have to thank Block_Fortress for inspiring me to start up creative building over terrain, he is such a legend in my eyes and he provided the tutorial video on how to build stuff like this (hopefully I didn't mess up enough to make his tutorial sound bad :P).

Other than that I only really have my fellow Minecrafters on the ShadeCrest Creative server, they have seen me progress since august when I first took up building through to the present day. They have been both my mentors and my friends and I <3 them all. Actually, I also have the Angel Block Society to thank. This is because they have been my target for a while now and I have been trying my utmost to reach a level at which I can apply to join their ranks (a level which I am far from achieving, but it is a fun goal nonetheless).

I know it is cliche, but if you liked this work then please don't forget to leave a comment to let me know what you think. In fact, if you don't like it is fine too as I love to hear feedback so that I can improve. If you loved it then I would love if you would leave me a diamond, as I don't go mining enough ;P.

This dragon has been ported over to Shadecrest's new survival games server, which is active and currently being used to test out the maps. Log in today at sg.shadecrest.com to have a play with the current released maps, one of which (the nether map) I worked lots on with a handful of skilled builders from the creative server:
TegAshLar - She led this project, i guess I was like her wingman :P, and deserves lots of credit for co-ordinating the build team even if it was full.
Sioutdoors - Designed the smaller towers and did some terraforming, he is a stupendously good builder. If you would like to see any of his builds log on to creative.shadecrest.com and /warp Poseidon or /warp BlackLotus for my favorite builds of his.
A360P - That's me! I did much of the terraforming, including designing the spikes. I also made the base of the main tower and designed a bunch of interior stuff and general detailing such as the chain bridges.
Pieman_Is_God - Helped out lots, doing many puzzles, jumps and the like.
Waterpower1 - *see above
