The Fire Nation Capital, often known as Capital City, is the Fire Nation's seat of government. The Fire Lord, the Fire Nation Royal Family, and the Fire Nation nobility call it home. Capital Island, a vast island in the western portion of the Fire Nation, is home to the metropolis.
The Fire Nation Capital is one of the world's largest cities.The Royal Plaza, a forum located directly past the First Lord's Harbor; an industrial district surrounded by numerous establishments and homes; and Royal Caldera City, a residential district situated within the crater of a dormant volcano and housing the Fire Nation Royal Palace and various homes of Fire Nation elite.
The Fire Nation Capital, along with Ba Sing Se, is considered one of the world's most highly guarded cities due to its enormous defenses. During the Hundred Year War, this level of defense, combined with the Fire Nation Navy's skill, kept the city from becoming a significant battleground. Despite this, it was attacked at least once during the unsuccessful invasion of the Ottoman Empire.
