Fireboat | Löschboot

I searched for good looking fireboats here on pmc but found none, that fits my imaginings. So I decided to build my own - and here it is, perfectly timed for the contest :D

This vessel is based on the new fireboat of the fire department of the Hansestadt Hamburg (Germany). It was delivered to the Hamburg port authority in 2018 as one of the most advanced ships of that type in the world. With a total lenght of 43m (my version: 46m), 9,80m beam (my version: 9m) and a draught of 2,80m (my version: 4m) it is perfectly designed for operations in the port of Hamburg with all its really big container ships. Though only designed for harbour-use, i'm pretty shure, my version could handle coastal areas as well :D Among others it features

• a gas detection and protection system for all rooms
• an ambulance care room
• a rescue gangway
• a rescue plattform at the stern wich includes: 

    - a small rescue boat
    - a special work crane (2ton @14m outreach)
    - a divers plattform

The fire monitors throw ~2400m³ water per hour 180m far and up to 110m high (actually ~14m higher than good old Big Ben in London)! When used with foam they throw ~600m³ per hour around 110m far and "only" 45m high.

When on full speed the ship travels with 12knots (~22km/h | ~13,8mph). Crew consists of just 4 people but can be stacked up by 32 firefighters for operations. For more technical details click *here* [.pdf of the Fassmer boatyard].
