After losing my saves a while back, I am re-doing my 1:1 scale model of Serenity from the best sci-fi TV show and movie of all time. Since I could never get it to look quite right, I've decided to build it from the inside out, using source material based off plans from the company that worked on the special effects of the show/movie.
All of this I hope will give people the chance to walk around Serenity feeling like it is properly to scale and spatially correct! As you can see I'm not great at exterior modelling, my next one will probably be built 1.5x bigger on the outside so it can be more symmetrical and have more detail :P
Used Ovo's Rustic Continuation texture pack. See Update Log for the link. For best results use this texture pack otherwise it will all look a bit drab.

p.s. For my next build I'm going to make an Alliance cruiser as large as the build height will let me and probably insert them both in a custom map of empty space. Or maybe the Reaver - Alliance battle scene from the movie? Who knows... For now I'm going to get back to work on Zion.

Getting there, should finish by tonight. Interior is almost completely done, with correct paint scheme, etc. All that is left is to finish skinning the outside. (and maybe design a Mal Reynolds skin to go with it :P)

Well,I don't actually know about this show,I just found this person's signature with a meme saying 'You ever sail in a firefly?'. Idk what made me do it but I checked youtube and wiki and found out. I found out it's really old and that's pretty much it. And that it's to do with science fiction.
