Joiner Fort Almonte is a fortress in Bacolod, Lanao del Norte. It is named after the 17th-century conquistador Admiral Pedro de Almonte. The fort was constructed during the final decade of Spanish rule in the Philippines to keep check on the Maranaos around Liangan, it was abandoned when Spain lost the Philippines and has suffered many wars and earthquakes ever since that would lead to its destruction. Now, the ruined fortress is on the premises of Liangan East Elementary School.
