She's finally here!
After many months of hard work, and constant revision of design, I give you my best ocean liner to date, SS. Versailles. A 1930's oil powered Art-deco style ocean liner, SS. Versailles is my pride and joy. Not only is she my most advanced ship, she also is the first with a download! Feel free to get the schematic and wander her decks, or come see her on SCL! submarinebuilder.net @/warp tc
While she is currently the largest ship I have ever completed, that wont last forever ;) but for now, Enjoy!
General Specs:
Length: 343 blocks
Beam: (waterline) 33 (max) 37 blocks
Draught: 9 blocks
Height: (top of mast to keel) 78 blocks
Power Plant:
20 Babcock & Wilcox Tri-furnace oil burning boilers (These are custom based on B&W designs)
4 Steam Turbine electric generators
4 Turbo-Electric drive motors
4 quadruple blade propellers

And what's strange is the shape of the tail feathers. In reality, the steering wheel could simply be detached from the body of the liner.
