Fury PT A

Hi everyone!


This one is a prototype I came up with combining different parts and different modules from different machine around the world, to benefit from all of them.

The chassis and the body is inspired by Merkava Mk. 4, with the engine and the transmission placed in the front, BUT the drive sprocket is in the rear. I've attempted to build a detailed, hydropneumatic suspension, but it didn't look very appealing and so I decided to make it vertical, and, with less detalization (so now they look like little springs).

The turret is inspired by Leopard 2 and Challenger 2, given the more square-ish shape and the position of optics in the front of the turret, and not on top of it.
A linked machine gun also lies within the cannon mask (to it's right).
The "Trophy" APS I've tried to install on top didn't come up as I expected, and the current look is (probably) not final!

A newer version release is being delayed, but progress is being made and eventually you'll be able to see it. Peeks will be available in the nearest future.

I didn't have enough time to complete what I planned, and frankly, it seems this project will not evolve any further, and the newer version will be discarded (whatever was build and turned out as expected will be preserved).

In case you were waiting, I'm sorry to let you down and I apologize if you have a feeling I fed you with promises. The project (A2) will be worked on, but maybe once-twice a month (best case scenario), so once again, don't hope for too much.

Thew new body and turret are going to be included in the archive of this project.

P.S. The main reason why the new project was delayed in the first place, is because I had to research how and where different components are placed, but haven't got enough visual information on the matter, so I had to improvise (that's why engine and transmission were built improperly since the beginning).
