DKM. Soltau
History:
The Soltau is a fictional heavy cruiser from the Kriegsmarine and was built 1942.
She was planned as a heavy cruiser, but the armor from the class is not so strong, as from other warships in the world.
The special on this ship are the turrets, the guns have 283mm and a strong penetration for cruisers.
During WWII, the Kriegsmarine use the ship for the detection and destruction of British convoys.
In combat the Soltau was badly damaged, under water through two torpedos by a British destroyer, but she survive the attack.
At that time the cruiser was one of the best cruisers by the Kriegsmarine, but two ships from the class are sunken through attacks of the British army.
