This is Gondolin, the greatest and most beauteful city ever built in Minecraft Middle Earth
They say that in the last days its beauty was almost like that of Tirion.
I can not proof it because I was never there. But I promise it is true for my Minecraft project.
Too bad Beleriand has perished with all its cities and stuff. Now we just can listen to the old stories from the few refugees from there. Like master Elrond whose parents have lived there.
Gandalfs sword Glamdring is the sword of Turgon, the great Noldor King of Gondolin.

Have you ever listened to the Alpensinfonie (An Alpine Symphony) by Richard Strauss? It fits reasonabily to the Atmosphere of Gondolin. In the Video down there.

Yes. I can undestand that. The Title Video is almost 30 seconds. I better sit down at work the whole night on a few mor screens.

It is in Beleriand. I guess from your Question that you maybe know about Middle Earth like it was in the third age, when the rings were made. Beleriand was in the north west of Middle Earth but it sunk under the sea and was destroyed at the end of the first age. Caused by "greatest war ever fought in all of Middle-earth."

Not in middle Earth. It was in Beleriand but sunk after the Valar destroyed Morgoth in the war of Wrath

Nope. Middle Earth is one of 2 or three continents who are all not Aman. Middle Earth includes Beleriand, the Lands in the North with Angband, Rhun and this Africa equivalent Continent in the south but not Numenor , or the Lands of the Sun or  Dark Land .

Hmmm never appeared on the map of Arda i've seen. I evn had the bestiary hahah.
Is there a place where one could see the build in all it's glory? If there is, this'll sure get another favorite :P

Everything on the pic is real minecraft stuff. But it is a 2k x 2k map and I needed to uprgade my ram up to 8 GB to load and render all the chunks in chunky.
I'd like to see more pics, it looks good so far :-)
