This is my submission for the "To The Stars" contest. It was made 90% in game (used MCedit for part of hull).

The original map (planet and asteroid belt) was made by the contest people.
Story
After discovering the cave with the amazing creations, Steve set out to build a great space-station. He worked many hard hours night and day. Soon he had completed the Granditer Centrum station, the new home base of his operations. He created a communication antenna and sent out many signals, trying to establish contact with the strange creatures. He waited and waited and waited. Soon after, Steve grew tired of waiting and then it hit him, "If they won't come to me, I will go to them!" Thus Steve set out to build the greatest exploration star-ship ever, the Scientia Inventionis!
Ship Specs:
  • Tungsten alloy hull.
  • Four tiered reactor core.

  • Plasma fueled engines.
  • Primary rail-gun cannon.
  • Four secondary cannons.
  • Secondary deck with labs, hospital, storage, cold-storage, eating area, and bunks.
  • Two ship docking bay.
