This is the mighty castle of Haðerbórg, home of the great Viking warlord Þormund the Thrice-Frozen, the Scourge of Wessex. I intended to do it in a viking-ish style, yet also with more common medieval elements. Inspiration came from the game Crusader Kings 2, when I started trying to picture what exactly a viking lord's castle would look like.
