The Harridan class is Outerbeam Foundation's attempt to follow up their massively successful Ranger Class Light Frigate. With a focus on balance, the Harridan has a more defensive weapon set than the offensively-geared Ranger. In the end, this makes the Harridan a much more effective escort outside of wartime, but does little to differentiate itself from other light escorts on the market.
