Hellcat and Stug Tanks

The M18 Hellcat was an american tank destroyer.  When it came out in WW2, it was the fastest armoured fighting vehicle in existance - a record it held for decades until the arrival of the US Abrams tank.  The speed came at a cost though, the amour was at it's thickest point, only 1 inch or 2.5cm thick!

The Stug (this is the Stug III) was built on the chassis of the reliable german pz III tank, replacing the turret with a fixed structure and a much more powerful gun.  The Stug was origionally designed as an assult gun, but it soon proved to be just as capable with anti-tank combat.  It's small siloutte made it easy to hide and harder to hit.  The Stug was highly prized by the German forces.
