I uploaded a world download for 1.12.2. There's a (sloppy) option for single player experience of this giant arena, but I do recommend you open the world to lan and go in there with a friend for a multiplayer battle. If something is not working, please contact me.

Project abandoned for the time being. Will make the map available if requested.

I've been working on this project since January 2017 now, but felt it was time to share. I've been inspired by the vision of hell as presented in the Hellraiser franchise and thought the Escher-like concrete maze would be an awesome place for PvP battles. So I started building, originally intending for it to be relatively small. My obsession with it has driven me to use almost the full 256 blocks of vertical space within an eight by eight chunk area. The hellworld now features countless staircases that turn into rivers of lava every so often, a large number of mini games earning you benefits in battle, occasional rains of fire, several player activated events and mob spawners and an integrated observation deck for non-participants. It will feature team battles as well as solo mode. The main area is finished, but the lobby is still a work in progress. I will be looking for people to test the environment out on my server soon. Feedback is very much appreciated!

Ok, so I gave it some more thought, and youtubers with a beastly computer may get some excellent mileage out of this baby. So I made a little trailer and posted it on youtube and this projectpage. Are you a youtuber and you want to make a video about this build? Please contact me on this page and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Should you rename it "Lagraiser" until then? (Just a joke, not meant as an insult or anything, looks awesome btw)

Wow thanks so much for listening! Can't wait to explore it! Looks like one of the best and most detailed builds I've seen on PMC. Highly underrated

Thank you so much for showing an interest, after more than a year of hard work, that means the world to me. There's been 10 downloads at the time of this comment, but I haven't heard from anyone who's explored it yet. So please let me know how your experience was, I would really appreciate it.

Well it was amazingly detailed and huge. Bigger than it looks in the picture. I did find some stuff that looked incomplete (namely the fire rain and stuff) but other than that it is amazing. The way everything towers over you is very ominous when you are looking up from the bottom. I have yet to explore the labrynth area yet but the overall build is so good

Thank you so much! If you entered on multiplayer or used the pressure plate that says single player the rain of fire should get activated every five minutes as anounced in chat. There's also a place in the arena where you can activate it yourself in a heavier form. I really appreciate you getting back to me on this :)
