Hi,

I'm really adiccted to Lord of the Rings and saw some projects here @ Planetminecraft.

So I decided to start my own projects.

The first one was a small hobbit house, the second one (this project) is HelmsDeep.

For me it was very complicate to find accurate plans of the buildings so i took some tabletop blueprints, some ideas from the film and so on.

The Tower was a problem because it has to be high enough but not too thick. Maybe the one i built is a bit too thick but you can walk inside and have a feeling like being Gimli in the movie ;-)

I just wanted to see what other people think of this type of structures and get some feedback, at least from the pictures.

When i find a working free screenrecorder I'm going to put a video here.

Maybe someone has a tip for a good screencam.

Work is still in progress so i decided to set the progress to 85%. Especially the interior is difficult to built.

New pictures will be uploaded soon.
