HiddenBlocks Museum Minecraft Map

Welcome to HiddenBlocks!

HiddenBlocks Museum is the ultimate map of hidden or “illegal” objects within the Minecraft Bedrock edition code. Created by Abuelubijijador with significant collaboration from the creators of The Block Museum, it redefines the boundaries of this genre of maps, offering a huge amount of high-quality content that is sure to surprise you.

HiddenBlocks features all kinds of objects you would expect to find in this type of “illegal” map, from the typical fare found in any YouTube video to things that at first glance you would think were fake. The map also features obsolete objects from the old version of Minecraft Pocket Edition and the educational version Minecraft Education Edition (as far as possible).

Contrary to what one might normally expect, this genre (internally named metalogy) has much more potential than one might think. A great example of this is moving_blocks, which allow two blocks to be merged into one, enabling, for example, permanently fused slabs and Vanilla Persistent Texts, which can be very useful in general mapmaking in Minecraft Bedrock edition. Therefore, if you are interested in manipulating the possibilities of metalogy to suit your needs, we recommend joining the official HiddenBlocks Museum server, where you can clarify your questions and request the unlocked version of the map with great tolerance: HiddenBlocks Museum Oficial Server

Some examples of the things this map contains are:

HiddenBlocks Museum Minecraft Map
Versions of redstone components that are normally unavailable in their
object version, but here they are.

HiddenBlocks Museum Minecraft Map
The original blocks from Minecraft Bedrock crops with all their phases.

These are mushroom blocks with obstructed faces and modified
rotations.

You can modify the illagers banners to change their color and base.

These are trapdoors with invalid positions that are normally unthinkable.

These are objects from Minecraft Education, including products and
blocks from the periodic table.

The rooms you see here are some of the most striking in the HiddenBlocks entity area.

These are some of the most striking rooms in the HiddenBlocks blocks/items area, including falling_blocks, moving_blocks, modified flower pots, and sculk components in all their variants.

And the cherry on top: the hidden squares. If you've played this type of maps, you've probably seen these iconic four squares.

V2.3b Changelist:

IMPROVEMENTS / QUALITY OF LIFE:
-The map cover was redesigned from scratch to eliminate all asymmetries, fix many flaws from previous covers, and include blocks that weren’t available when the previous ones were created.
-The test areas for objects zones now include two new useful features: tools to break the items being tested, and the ability to break placed blocks if they cannot be broken in Adventure mode.
-The free zone has been drastically improved, as you can now play in Creative mode within it—though obviously with certain limitations. You can switch between Adventure and Creative modes using the orange and lime candles in the eighth slot of your inventory.
-The objects zones now look much nicer from the outside, as they are all symmetrically aligned.
-The entire interactive menu for Infinite Parkour has been redesigned to be less clunky and more precise.
-The “Posters with Modified Font Color” items in the objects zone have been redesigned to include greater variety.
-The agent’s objects zone has been updated to include informational books on the detailed syntax of the “/agent” command.
-Objects zones with more than three Shulker boxes can now be reset simultaneously by pressing any one of the three buttons, thanks to a hidden Redstone system.
-The inner barrels in the modified attributes room are now restockable.
-There is now a /tp command at the end of the entities section that takes you back to the lobby.
-The chiseled bookshelf room has been updated. The names are now white instead of light gray; the shulkers can now be reset; duplicate copies have been removed; and the room’s information book has been drastically improved.
-You can now reset the items in the shulkers in the trowableBlocks room.
-The end of each section has been improved: The row of “enclosed areas” is now surrounded by moving_blocks made of slabs and walls.
-All entrances to each room on the map now have wool beneath the mini carpeted entrance.
-The display case in the objects zone is now two blocks tall. Its shulker box now has better decoration.
-The area containing the happy ghast in the GEPETOS room has been adjusted so that it can enter.
-The information book in the room dedicated to the fishing hook entity has been updated to state that it used to drop loot but no longer does.
-The stacked air room is now marked as removed.
-Each of the barrels in the modified attributes room now has a slab on top of it.
-The attributes room now has shears in the restockable barrels at the entrance so you can remove the block inside the modified sulfur cubes in that part of the room and kill them.
-The area_effect_cloud(s) room in the color demo now features all sixteen vanilla Minecraft dye colors, not just eight.
-The information book for the old stone cutters from Minecraft PE was rewritten because it was poorly written and contained incorrect information.
-The information book for the “base” banner room has been rewritten.
-The display case in the trip_wire objects zone now shows the item in a frame, rather than the block itself (which wasn’t noticeable).
-The jukebox item zone now includes an instance with the “Bounce” record.
-The display case in the standing banners object zone has been improved by removing the slabs that were in the way and including banners with more appropriate colors.
-All pale items with +DATA have been added to the +DATA objects zone.

-The text in the informational book in the demonstration room regarding the now-fixed bug involving obtaining the Nether portal item has been improved.
-The remaining items from the “Unbreakable Tools” and “Invisible Armor” objects zones have been added. The former includes the bow, wolf armor, and crossbow; the latter includes the turtle helmet and elytra.
-The demagnetite objects zone now includes regular compasses so that players can interact with the demagnetite.
-The information book in the modified bucket mob room was rewritten to reflect the improvements in v2.2 and to be more comprehensive.
Improvements from v2.2 and a more complete experience.
-The water room with modified levels now has a more comprehensive information book and a copy of those levels featuring lava.
-The “chest_boat” unobtommand was added to the corresponding room.
-The “Weapons with Unbreakability -1” objects zone now has a test area and a warning about its use.
-All command systems visible at a glance have been hidden throughout the entire map.

-The text in the two rooms regarding the unused modes of the structure block has been improved.
-The falling_blocks room now features a lectern with an informational book.
-The informational book in the sulfur cube’s fake blocks room now uses the term “incomplete block” instead of “intermediate block.”
-The area_effect_cloud with the instant damage effect has been removed from its respective room.
-The copper golem statue that spawned a Vex has been replaced with one that spawns a cyan parrot.
-The area representing the Limbo dimension will now be underground so it isn’t unsightly from the outside.
-The test area for the bubble column objects zone now uses `canPlaceOn(s)` within it.
-In the modified villager room, the implementation of `moving_blocks` was utilized to prevent wool from being placed when a block that normally cannot be combined with carpets is present.
-The word “UNIQUE” was removed from the sign in the “Active Conduit” objects zone because it was redundant.
-The internal variants of the cacao pods from the shulker box in their objects zone (“Crops”) were flipped compared to how they were previously.
-The decorative glass panes in the shulker box containing goat horns in their respective objects zone are now gray, not light gray.
-The last shulker box in the “Bug Trapdoors” objects zone is now filled with cyan glass blocks, to be consistent with the sole presence of warped trapdoors.
-All shulker boxes in Illano’s banner room will now be filled with white glass to be more consistent with the other shulker boxes.
-The blue glass in the shulker box in the “Dragon Egg and Wither Egg” objects zone has been replaced with gray glass.
-In the “Cakes” objects zone, the shulker box containing cakes with candles has been slightly improved by moving the last cake from the second-to-last row to the last row, into the center slot of that row.
-The test area in the balloon item zone no longer has “allows,” as they were never necessary. The last row of balloon items in the shulker box of the objects zone has been centered.
-The items in the last row of the shulker box in the “Posters” objects zone have been centered.
-The items in the last row of the shulker box in the “Light Blocks” objects zone have been centered.
-The items in the last shulker box of the “Mushroom Blocks” objects zone have been centered.
-The last row of the shulker box in the “Incorrectly Named Banners” objects zone has been centered.

BUG FIXES / VERSION PARITY:
-Each objects zone now has commands to remove any lava or water blocks above the level of the trapdoors, as the absence of these commands caused water to spill throughout the objects zone.
-You can no longer walk into the other version of the map and break the language switcher.
-Each test area within the objects zones that contains blocks in its structure which drop items when broken is now fixed by using /kill to remove the dropped items from that block.
-The locations of the agent’s and mask_eggs’ objects zones were swapped so that the latter would match its representative room.
-All room entrances that were more than two blocks thick—composed of stone bricks and chiseled stone bricks—were adjusted to be only one block thick.
-The chessboard megastructure was removed from the Spanish version to match the English version. To preserve the curiosity of exploring these maps, a 5x5 structure made up of these maps was built in both the Spanish and English versions of the map.
-The active Sculk catalyst present in one of the demonstrations in the trowableBlocks room can no longer spawn a Warden.
-Fixed a bug that caused the teleport to the “Limbo” dimension to fail because the
Ceiling block. These were replaced with moving_blocks made of ghost blocks.
-Fixed a bug that caused players to be kicked out of the world when opening the Shulker Box in the “Objects Zone” area. The bug was caused by the presence of items with quantities outside the range of 1 to 64.
-The number of sacks in their respective objects zone has been reduced so that shulker boxes can be opened without causing the world to crash.
-Now, when changing languages, the player’s spawn point also changes. This prevents the player from respawning in the other version of the map after selecting the other language.
-Items inside the display case in the “Modified Command Blocks” item area no longer fall out of it.
-The incorrectly sized guardian room now has its own information book in the English version of the map.
-The “Pitcher Plant Farm” and “Flame Torch Farm” objects zones now have their own test areas.
-The “Coming Soon” signs in the Spanish version of the map now have an accent on the “o.”
-The test area for the “Unbreakable Tools” objects zone is now usable when a Nitwit villager is placed there instead of an armor stand.
-The information book in the sulfur cube room, with the item inside it modified, now displays the correct number of copies.
-The Piglin GEPETO no longer spawns repeatedly in the GEPETO(s) room.
-The wolves in the lobby now have fixed spawn times and are located in a structural void, preventing players from stopping them and ensuring they function properly.
-The skeleton’s GEPETO has been removed, as it was never actually a GEPETO.
-The Piglin GEPETO no longer has a crossbow with which to attack you.
-The persistent informational text for its respective room now includes a comma after “these,” and the phrase “compatible with colors” has been corrected to read “colores” instead of “colors.”
-At each location of every armor stand in the room with harnesses, there is a border_block to prevent the harness from being removed.
-The striders in the modified attributes room no longer have that fake mount on them before you equip one.
-The copper golem, which should always have been heavy due to its high push resistance, is now heavy.
-The “Redstone” objects zone now forces a structure from the test area’s construction to be loaded so that it cannot be destroyed.
-A dirt block has been replaced with stone bricks in the unknown blocks room; this was previously visible from a specific angle of the client_request_placeholder_block.
-The actual locations of the red carpet and the happy ghast in the falling_blocks room are no longer swapped in the English version.
-The fused slabs in the moving_blocks objects zone have been translated into Spanish in the Spanish version.
-The “colormatic” vase and the “Share with Friends” option (the latter in the English version) in the Shulker Box of the modified vases objects zone had many errors, which have been fixed.
-In the “Structure Void” room, you can no longer place blocks above the “allow” level of the structure loading zones; the useless “save” option for structures has been removed (it was never possible to modify anything because there were always ‘deny’ blocks underneath); and the structure without the “Structure Void” now differs by having copper on top instead of iron.
-The item.skull objects zone (which was removed) did not have coal behind the iron door in the English version.
-The informational book in the room about the magnetite compass was rewritten.
-In the display case of the “Bugged Beds” items zone, frames were added to the empty blocks so it doesn’t look asymmetrical.
-In the “Mislabeled Shields” objects zone, the purple shield—which is actually purple—was removed.
-You can no longer save a new respawn point on the beds in the “Glitched Beds” room.
-Many errors and inconsistencies were fixed in the modified cauldron room (involving tinted liquids or effects incompatible with them): ∙You can now pick up buckets in the room without them being removed from your inventory. ∙The room’s carpet was extended by one more block. ∙The room’s carpet now has wool underneath it.
-The test area for the “Planters with +DATA from the object” objects zone was fixed so that the objects zone’s structure can no longer be destroyed.
-The unnecessary brush in the “Modified Suspicious Blocks” objects zone was removed. To fix the gap created where the barrel and brush were, the sand and gravel BrushCounts were separated into two different shulker boxes.
-You can no longer lower the hatches in the block room for blocks that shouldn’t be snow-covered but are. To improve the appearance along an “L”-shaped edge, special moving_blocks were created for this case.
-The information book in the pink-leaf room has an accent on the “a” in “estar.”
-In the objects zone for the “Generation” books, the information book was missing a period.
-The information book in the liquid-and-crystal room said “nada más” without an accent on the ‘a’ in “más.”
-Previously, the credits sign in the RepairCost objects zone read “Idea Credits:” instead of just “Idea:”.
-The information book in the room with magma cubes and absurdly sized slimes now has a period at the end of the first paragraph.
-Some wolves in the room with colored wolves did not have a tile beneath them. This has been fixed.
-The “Ultimate Hive Breaker” sold by the “Seller Sellers” villager now also breaks artificial beehives.
-Horses no longer break water blocks that are in their path.
-Many inconsistencies and spelling errors in the information book for the Modified Attributes Subroom of the Sulfur Cube in the Modified Attributes Room have been fixed.
-The welcome text in the map lobby has been modified to trigger only for the player closest within a 1.2-block radius. This prevents a message from being displayed to the player closest to the command block—regardless of their distance from it—when a player drops an item on the pressure plate and walks away. This same text previously had a gray colon (:) instead of a white one. The last line of the text was rewritten so it no longer ends abruptly with a blank colon.
-The Nether portal in its respective objects zone has been restocked. As a result, the shulker box is no longer empty in the center slot.
-At coordinates “109 61 1,” there was a wall where chiseled stone bricks should have always been.
-The information book in the room with misaligned Minecraft pictures did not start with a capital letter.
-You can no longer enter End or Nether portals: they will break if you are within a two-block radius of them (unless they are in rooms that require these portals).
-You can no longer steal clothing from the armor stand depicting Steve in the 500-page lectern room. A border_block has been placed beneath the armor stand to prevent this.
-In the armor room, one of the armor stand slots had chiseled stone bricks instead of stone brick stairs like the others.
-You can no longer enter the Limbo dimension by changing the language.
-The “Coming Soon…” signs in the Entities section have been translated into the English version.
-The introductory sign for the objects zone containing armor items with invalid designs has now been correctly translated into the English version.
-The book in the room with sulfur cubes that act as off-grid blocks has been translated into the English version of the map.
-Each player’s experience levels were reset to zero, as they should have always been.
-The “checkpoints” scoreboard for infinite parkour was reset, as it previously had a value of two.

And there are still many more things for you to discover!
