HiddenBlocks Museum Minecraft Map

Welcome to HiddenBlocks!

HiddenBlocks Museum is the ultimate map of hidden or “illegal” objects within the Minecraft Bedrock edition code. Created by Abuelubijijador with significant collaboration from the creators of The Block Museum, it redefines the boundaries of this genre of maps, offering a huge amount of high-quality content that is sure to surprise you.

HiddenBlocks features all kinds of objects you would expect to find in this type of “illegal” map, from the typical fare found in any YouTube video to things that at first glance you would think were fake. The map also features obsolete objects from the old version of Minecraft Pocket Edition and the educational version Minecraft Education Edition (as far as possible).

Contrary to what one might normally expect, this genre (internally named metalogy) has much more potential than one might think. A great example of this is moving_blocks, which allow two blocks to be merged into one, enabling, for example, permanently fused slabs and Vanilla Persistent Texts, which can be very useful in general mapmaking in Minecraft Bedrock edition. Therefore, if you are interested in manipulating the possibilities of metalogy to suit your needs, we recommend joining the official HiddenBlocks Museum server, where you can clarify your questions and request the unlocked version of the map with great tolerance: HiddenBlocks Museum Oficial Server

Some examples of the things this map contains are:

HiddenBlocks Museum Minecraft Map
Versions of redstone components that are normally unavailable in their
object version, but here they are.

HiddenBlocks Museum Minecraft Map
The original blocks from Minecraft Bedrock crops with all their phases.

These are the “.item” doors, easily recognizable because they are cut
in half.

These are mushroom blocks with obstructed faces and modified
rotations.

You can modify the illagers banners to change their color and base.

These are trapdoors with invalid positions that are normally unthinkable.

These are objects from Minecraft Education, including products and
blocks from the periodic table.

The rooms you see here are some of the most striking in the HiddenBlocks entity area.

These are some of the most striking rooms in the HiddenBlocks blocks/items area, including falling_blocks, moving_blocks, modified flower pots, and sculk components in all their variants.

And the cherry on top: the hidden squares. If you've played this type of maps, you've probably seen these iconic four squares.

V2.3 (Remodelation&Optimization Update) Changelist:

-DECORATION / FUNCTIONALITY
-At the end of the block area, at the final exit, an artificial forest was added, making the area more pleasant.
-The decoration of all rooms was improved: the central blocks of each wall now feature andesite walls, the edges of the floors and ceilings in the rooms are now smoothed with slabs, and the room ceilings were improved.
-You can now enable or disable coordinates using an option (the “snowball”) as soon as you enter the world for the first time.
-The lobby’s position is now symmetrical relative to the distance between the lobby and the first item zone in both the entity and block areas.
-New, revamped ceilings were added to all the large rooms on the map.

New Rooms / Item Zones:
ENTITIES:

Rooms:
-A room with sulfur cubes containing normally unobtainable items has been added.
-A room with invisible sulfur cubes named “Dinnerbone” has been added, creating fake blocks, some of which are upside down.
-Added a room with pandas holding modified items.
-Added a room with Captain Pillagers carrying the modified banner.

BLOCKS/ITEMS:

Rooms:
-Added the Interdimensional Room, which includes:
·The NetherScale Subroom
· The Modified EndGateways Subroom
· The “Limbo” Dimension Subroom (accessible by entering a Nether portal from the End, resulting in a fake Overworld)
- Added a room with special examples of movingBlocks that include water/lava with glass, resulting in perfect ramps in vanilla mode.
- Added a new room that includes the procedure for obtaining the bugged barrel.

Object Zones:
-The room containing objects with invalid `canPlaceOn`/`canDestroy` properties has been moved to an object zone.
-An object zone with a stack of air has been added.

Reworks:
-The “unknown” blocks room has been redesigned to include better decoration, more space, and a more enjoyable layout.
-The MaskEggs room was redesigned to reflect their primary colors and make it more visually appealing. (Includes an Easter egg.)
-The room with the vases from the modified Trial Chambers was redesigned to be more spacious, better decorated, and include more vases.
-The room with the 4 fused pistons was redesigned.
-The crushed ice demonstration room was drastically improved by making the barrels restockable and enhancing the room’s overall decor.
-The Unobtommands room was remodeled to be more spacious and include more specimens (1/2)

Improvements:
-PvP was removed from the map.
-The gamerule that makes border_block particles invisible was applied.
-The TrowableBlocks room (that’s what it’s called from now on—it makes more sense) now has catalysts activated in its frames.
-The functionality of TrowableBlocks was improved; they now have a ticking area that activates them only when there are people in the room and function exclusively when the item is on a tuff block.
-A subsection was added to the replaceitems room containing other entities affected by an invalid /replaceitem command.
-The modified copper golem statue instances have been improved to include more exotic and complex entities.
-Test areas have been added to the movingBlocks room, along with reset buttons for the movingBlocks. Following that, some movingBlocks that hadn’t been translated into Spanish were translated.
-Three more movingBlocks containing honey/slime were added to their respective room.
-The bucket room with modified mobs inside now includes instances with the sulfur cube bucket (we also experimented with its “Contains” text—the lore normally displayed by the sulfur cube block).
-The attributes room was expanded to accommodate new instances of sulfur cube attributes.
-The teleportation mechanism to the Stripedlands was streamlined and improved.
-New unobtommands were discovered. The room will now also indicate that these are IDs dating back to before The Flattening, which, for some reason, were not removed. The discovered unobtommands are...
·stained_glass / ·stained_glass_pane / ·stained_hardened_clay / ·lodestonecompass / ·fireworks / ·melon / ·clownfish / ·darkoak_sign / ·scute / ·turtle_shell_piece / ·stone_slab / ·stone_block_slab

-The test area for the balloon item section has been slightly improved: the fences are connected to all junctions and regenerate infinitely.
-The modified frames room now includes 2 new examples: enlarged frames with an item inside.

Bug Fixes:
-Bug fix: /clear all TNT (in case someone is collecting sand and gunpowder from a remote part of the map)
-The sign in the credits area now has an accent on the “e.”
-Fixed a bug during the construction of the modified spawner room that connected two spawners through the wall beneath them.
-Fixed a bug affecting more than half of the item zones in the English version that caused the wall pointing toward -X (where the test zone is located) to be flat, rather than having the expected design for that wall.
-Removed the buttons that weren’t pressed in the “pressed plates/buttons” item zone.
-Unnecessary, unobtainable purple blocks were removed from their respective item zones.
-In the modified rocket item zone, the instances were improved, as the test area now works with a CanPlaceOn.

-In the spawn area when you first open the world, the infested stone bricks in the structure were replaced with normal stone bricks.
-Decorative slabs beneath the Reset button in item zones have been added to all rooms where they were previously missing (for example: the item zones in the Entities area).

-GEPETO pandas now work properly: the `markVariant` intTag in each GEPETO panda’s data was invalid.
-The brushes in the Suspicious Sand Room are now restocked correctly.

-In the duplication bug room, there are now restockable pickaxes to break the piston (and remember again that this has been fixed).
-Grass blocks are no longer visible in the duplication bug room.
-You can no longer break the information stand in the modified information stand room.
-The modified bonfire room has been improved: -The chests in the room have been replaced with barrels. -The floor has been improved. -The X coordinate in the English version has been corrected; it was one block behind the Spanish version.
-Signs with warnings on how to move invisible armor have been added to the respective room.
-The reload ticks for the suspicious block item zones were calibrated.
-More than 10 previews of the item zones were slightly improved and/or fixed.
-The resolution of the images included in the modified map examples, corresponding to their item zones, was improved by applying “Nearest Neighbor interpolation.”
-Parity with the English version: Flares were reorganized correctly, as in the Spanish version.
-Parity with the English version: Glowsticks were reorganized correctly, as in the Spanish version.
-Parity with the English version: Unnecessary and nonsensical test zones were removed, as in the Spanish version.
-Parity with the Spanish version: The indicator frame above the door to the item area of the light blocks now contains a level 15 light block, as in the English version, rather than a level 14 light block.
-Several errors on the map’s title screen were corrected, including: -The lighting was made more realistic. -The furnaces on the front page are now lit. -The resolution was increased to QHD.
-The map was optimized, drastically reducing lag (on the server side).

Length

And there are still many more things for you to discover!
