Lvl 35 • Artisan Architect

A fortified castle inspired by the French château. This structure is primarily based on castles such as Château de Pierrefonds and Château de Chenonceau. It is, however, constructed with an unusual red-tiled roof rather than the iconic black tiles in order to look more fantasy-esque and vibrant. I'm also constructing a town in the bay overlooked by the hill and castle.

This is my first time building in this style so, please bear with me. If you have any ideas or suggestions of how I can do better, be so kind as to leave a comment :). Give a diamond and favourite the project to follow along with the progress.

A town is being constructed in the bay overlooked by the hill of which the castle sits upon. A few concept buildings have been created along with the beginnings of a church. You'll find what's been added on the last images.

history

As stated in the description, the build is being made in Conquest Reforged which includes a large selection of new blocks and 3D models. The biggest loss of playing in Default instead of the complimentary Conquest resource pack is the lack of connected textures. Overall, playing the mod in Default doesn't take that much away as most blocks are custom anyways which won't change the texture as seen in the attached images which are both screenshots using the default textures.
