A home I made while I was bored. It turned out quite nice.

Consists of:
Living-room with a fireplace,
An upstairs deck with a great view,
A front porch,
A basement,
A kitchen,
An attic containing a forgery,
An upstairs storage closet,
Workshops in both the attic and basement,
A back door,
And one bed room.

Additional Notes

I consider the house 95% complete due to the fact that mobs spawn when trying to sleep in the bedroom bed. I tried doubling up the inner walls but that didn't seem to help. I also tried lighting the outer walls. Any tips concerning this are greatly appreciated.

I believe I can't do much about the bed so I guess i can consider it 100% now.

The only way to stop mobs spawning in your bedroom is to have the beds not touching a wall :P its explained on minecraft wiki. Its some sort of bug and very annoying as you can appreciate

yeah it is called playing on peaceful

You don't need to be on peaceful for beds to work though. I want to know the deciding factor as to why this particular bed doesn't work.

BTW: I think the monster/bed prob is because of the double doors now
