Every day, you probably wake up, get ready, and live normally. You probably don't think about the endless possibility for destruction that humanity possesses. You probably consider this ever happening near impossible. Only crazy people are concerned with the possibility of nuclear war.

Unfortunately, in this world, every child must eventually learn that it is possible, albeit unlikely, for humans to suddenly end the world. And they don't tend to learn how easily it could happen by accident.

And it almost has happened by accident. In the 1960s, america kept nuclear armed bombers in the air around north america 24/7. 5 times, planes arm with warheads crashed. Or the Tybee bomb, where after a mid-air collision, an atomic bomb was lost and never recovered in east Georgia.

The point here is not to make you live in fear, but show you why we must reduce these capabilities. Nonproliferation has often been considered impossible, and probably is. But reduction in our nuclear arsenals is seemingly common sense, as both America and Russia could destroy the world several times over.

On August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb used in war was dropped by the plane 'Enola Gay' over the city of Hiroshima, Japan.
