In 1982 the Zodiac was commissioned to serve as a troop transporter through the Falklands War. For that purpose she was completely painted black, because she was mostly used at night. Due to that she was nicknamed "The Black Cat" and reached top speeds which are still unknown and under top secret. After the Falklands War ended she was modernized and returned to commercial service for the "Golden Eagle Lines."
