We are also including content, NPCs, references, etc that are from the present-day (2023 as of writing), and will be canonically correct.

What is the revamp?
The revamp of the castle will take on the design of Prof_Artifex's Hogwarts 2 design. The original template can be found HERE. This will fix a ton of bugs, including a REALLY OLD BUG with the Black Lake generation being broken, due to improper optimization of the map. The map was first worked on BEFORE Mojang added the World Optimization feature. Expect some of the following bugs to be fixed:
- Lookout Tower's smaller tower is not positioned correctly
- Lookout Tower not positioned Correctly
- Gap between Entrance Hall and Grand Staircase is too big
- There is no steep staircase from the Viaduct Courtyard to the Entrance Hall
- Really buggy terrain in the surrounding region, most notably near the viaduct and across the Black Lake.


2019: Hey guys, welcome to Hogwarts - Perfect Recreation V3. Although it's NOT a perfect recreation, I coined the name from the original name posted by Kaspersson about 6 years ago. He never updated it since 2013, which means to combat this, I have decided to update the map to the latest version with more details as possible However, some areas are still not finished, and some destinations are broken, as they are not developed yet.

From the creators of SovietCraft, this map is generally focused on Hogwarts Castle, and is based on David Yates' latest model of Hogwarts Castle from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows [​Part Two] (2011), featuring a redesigned Viaduct Courtyard, Boathouse, Lookout Tower and more to come.

This map requires a resource pack to run, or there will be serious visual glitches.

Background Information

This map, currently known as Hogwarts: Perfect Recreation originally by Mr. Kaspersson is being updated with new features, changes and tweaks. This project will be based off the castle from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part Two). Since Early 2019, this map has been updated by me after seeing complaints in the comments of that project.
