This house is inspired by the look of the simple dwellings everyone pictures when they think of the Old West. The people who roamed the Great Plains in the hopes of finding a better place to live had to make do with whatever materials were available where they ended up settling down. Many of them built their homesteads around a home that looked very similar to this building. Just like those settlers had to manage with the resources they found, you too can use any combination of wood planks, depending on what you have available (or like best).
